marquee suddenly lost its settings

my friends pj 9500ultra recently lost the settings on all channels i had stored them on (channels weren`t locked btw).

zone focus was there and astig was there but conv and all geometry plus brightness and contrast settings were gone.

it had worked perfectly for 4 months or so (this same problem occured 4 months ago).

anyone any idea what could cause this "intermittent" problem.

You might start with measuring the battery on the CLM...

Guys

Some settings are stored on the backplane chip, including Model Number, Serial Number, Color Temps and a few other things. Checking the CLM battery is a good start. A tube arc can mess with settings stored in the CLM memories.
