Has anyone seen one of these projectors in action? I'm curious. Looks like an interesting toy for the price.....

The thing that concerns me is that they look like the white van crap that shows up on Craigslist. Also, no light rating on one, and the other says 300 lumens, which is pretty low. Might be fun for a small screen - like maybe 6-7' diagonal - with 1.3-1.5 gain material. I agree though that it would be fun to play with... Somebody buy one and find out how it works. Wink

Yeah, no doubt they are built very cheaply. Would have to be for the price. One of them advertises 2700 ansi lumens. That can't be right. Maybe the LED puts out 2700 lumens.

I have seen one of these. It is a nice little projector but needs more pixels:

I believe they are big LCD panel light valve projectors. The lens has a pretty large diameter. Maybe there is a LED array for the light source? One ad said they used LEDs from:

http://bridgelux.com/

I looked on their site but they didn't mention anything about projectors. I am very intrigued with these projectors.

KM,
Scott won't win any design awards. Wink Of course, these things are supposed to be as bullet proof as possible.
