What does the Hold Down EHT and Hold down HD lights mean? Recently aftere turning on projector the Hold Down HD light comes on and the red and blue lights come on. After about 30 sec the Hold down EHT light comes on and the red and blue go off. Do I have system failure or did I can a set up by mistakes.

Not sure how to do that. I am new to this. Is that expensive to replace?

Hi,
I think it would make sense getting to know Your PJ first. There's a lot of information on this site.

If both the Hold Down EHT and Hold Down HD lights are on then I would start searching for problems at the deflection board. If it was for the Hold Down EHT light only then I would have looked for problems in the HV section (Quad, Splitter etc.). But, if the deflection fails, it is quite normal that the HV section is shut of too and its light will come on additionally...

David, Barclay is right, read up about the set on the link above, and we need to know if one of the two red LEDs is on on the deflection board. You have a fault in the set, it's not a setup issue. Report back, and we can further assist.
