Well....in order to make the kids happy, they want to use my man cave and screen. I will hang the old Runco 933 and below it on the floor will be the VV1. If I had a higher ceiling, I would swap the two. But that is ok. I can now preserve the VV1 for movies and my sports and kids can do DVD's and Netflix on the Runco. I am ok with this!! It keeps the hours on the VV1 low and no one will hit their head on the Runco which is every day.

Why not use the Marquee for everything? I hope your kids are well trained with their drinks

Hush box enclosure being designed....I am more concerned with "others" and their drinks than I am with my kids

Tell them no. When they reach about 10 years past puberty, only THEN do they get access to a man cave... and only one that they build themselves. It's called a man cave, not a kid cave. A kid cave is made with couch cushions and blankets, and back in my day, it was called a fort.

I am in the process of putiing up a second low end system on the other side of my basement for my wife and nieces and nephews to play video games on, it wont cost much I already have almost everything I need. I refuse to put wear and tear on my G90 for XBOX.

That is exactly my thinking as well. But the otherside of the basement is my wife's sewing area and if I value my life and nuts, I keep it a sewing area.

we have a tablet running Win8 Pro for touch and PC-based games AND a 19" sony trintron with an original NES for electronic games. The only other fun our kids have in our house are board games and reading. If those options are good enough, go run around in the woods or turn over rocks in/around the creek!
