That was one of the very best 3D presentations I have seen on my G90. I could only spot ghosting if I chose to consciously look for it, so I didn't. This is a really good looking 3D movie for CRT.

Also, I went in with lower expectations, but I thought it was a decent movie. I actually liked it better than any of the LOTR trilogy. It was fun, exciting, and pretty interesting.

Check out the BD.

You know what, ever since the blue giant movie, I have no desire to see another 3D movie. However that was the theater. And the Sony 3d and not Real D.

I will assume you mean Imax film. I saw Avatar in Imax digital and didn't care for the 3D.

IMAX varies in quality tremendously between theaters. Some of them are awful.

Thanks, Craig! I've had the RS45 and a couple pairs of the MonsterVision glasses since last summer, but only had the PS3 and a non-3D prepro. I didn't want to buy a splitter AND a long HDMI cable, so I was holding off... Well, I finally got my hands on an Oppo 103 w/dual outputs, so now I just need an extra HDMI cable to the projector. I'll have to give this one a try!

I can understand that, but to me that is IMAX's fault. If I am going to drive half a hour and pay more for a ticket then I should be getting a better experience.

I guess it is another reason I don't like going to the theater. I just went to see Oz and the whole time I kept focusing on the large vertical streaks in the screen material. Not to mention that the seats were uncomfortable.

I agree about film, we drive an extra half hour for that.

Yeah, I see about two films each year in the theaters because I always want to wait to watch it at home instead. Everything about the experience is better in my theater than in any commercial theater I have seen.
