A friend of mine asked me to throw this problem in. He has a Barco Graphics 808, with high resolution LC tubes from a retrographics, and 120MHz neckboards. Few days ago his LVPS blown up suddenly during operation (the standby circuit died) and since then he has a strange problem, than can be seen on the video:

all colors have a slightly darker horizontal band in the middle, but as he sets the focus the brightness of the picture decreases.
Any ideas?
