Had some time to kill tonight before work. I spent it watching Kill Bill vol.1 in the home theater. I'm amazed when I watch this film every year at how good it was, or IS. I can't believe this movie came out 9.5 years ago. I've seen other Tarantino films, but this one seems to go beyond just being 'good'. Its turning into a classic for me.

I remembered in an interview with Tarantino about the opening cinema announcements being from the early 70's. I found it fitting to be seeing that homage in a modern private theater. And I still felt the same way this evening that I did when I first saw this movie in the public theaters (one of the last), and when I watched it in my home on DVD the first time.

I said to myself, Daryl Hannah's character should have a television show. Same for Lucy Liu, one of my favorite actors. Hell, they could have made a show from the Deadly Viper Assassin Squad idea, but I guess Tarantino isn't that commercial.

I'll consider it when it comes out on Blu-ray.
