Anyone have a suggestion for a AVR that has quick HDMI switching. The Onkyo I just installed sounds great but HDMI switching is like fingernals on a chalk board.

Did you check to see if the firmware needs updating?

I just bought a Marantz SR6006 last month that has been doing a good job with all of my HDMI sources. I have a PS3, Xbox 360, DirecTV DVR, Netgear streamer, and it switches all of these quickly without any delays or problems.

According to the serial number on the box this was shipped with the latest firmware.
This is a older Onkyo AVR that has been in a box for years awating to be used (TX-SR705). It sounds great but slow switching.
