Hi,

I didn't have to scroll down to the other pics. The stains on the tube neck already told me enough. I'm quite sure that this tube got replaced and the tech put it back into the box of the new one. Basically, You'd buy something new: The box! I just hope that nobody will buy this rip-off...

Regards,

I did email them, telling that the LC chamber and C element had value, maybe even $200, but that they should change the way they represented the tube for those not in the know. Given their 100% feedback, I'm sure they know nothing about CRT...

I told them its not worth anything. I saw it the day it went up and warned them to remove NEW from the listing. they then asked me how I knew? I told them then they asked how much I would pay. I told them 200 for all three tubes. No responce.

They have a bunch of Panasonic and Sony tubes described as 'NEW' with obvious image burn. How do these people get away with this stuff. Any idiot can see they're not new.

Well, they thanked e for the response.

Look, if I had a carburetor out of some exotic car and I didn't know squat about it and it was 'new' in the box, I would be ignorant of the condition of it as well.

Well maybe a bad example, because I'd do research, but do you know how many impulse purchases I've sold because someone thought that a CRT projector back in 2000, shining 20' from a 'shelf' onto a 6' wide screen over their fireplace with bay windows in the room would look super cool? Literally dozens. eBay sales, all of them. THat's why I over time refined my ad, and had the 'email me for a comparison document between CRT and digital' thing on every ad.

Give something highly technical to a liquidator and tell them that it was worth $1000s new, and most of them go gaga for the stuff.
