Yeah I just did a "quantity of 50" option on there, thats how many he has available.... new.... I think given the amount he has he should lower the price...

Make a "Best Offer" to him of $40. hahahaha considering the $1500. shipping, it should be about what they're "worth"...

All I can tell you is there's a comparative steal of a deal for one at $3500 there on eBay. Seller seems legit, too! Razz

Charging far more than they were worth... Thus inhibiting the sale of said projectors. I mean really, I doubt FH video educated people very much if at all on how superior CRT is to the new Sony VPL Digitals that replaced them, yet they still said "Oh they are worth $13,000 all day long!"

If they bought the stock 8 years ago, and STILL have 50 of them, wouldn't someone there have a brain big enough to realize that no one is going to buy them for that price?

Like curt said, theres a comparable one on ebay for $3500, and at least he warranties it and backs it up Smile

I have no idea. I think FH video really believes that unit was refurbished by Sony at one time. Probably just re-tubed.
It's buyer beware, anyone who think they're really getting a "brand new " G90 is a fool, a quick search will show they quit making them 10 years ago. So at best, you might get New Old Stock / NOS .

How is it a scam?? If they want to charge high prices its no one's business, you dont have to pay it and if any one does without doing their research then that is their problem and their fault.

There is no reason to expect a sales person will be honest. They are in it for the sole purpose of making money, and thats it. Whether or not they are charging a fair price is somewhat irrelevant isnt it.

A simple case of buyer beware you say. Probably. Its just that at least some these do say "New" and that doesn't seem quite right after all of this time and if its sold as new and is not then that does sound to me to be a scam and yes sure the buyer does need to beware.

Its ebay. If they say its new and its not, and you pay with paypal, can prove its not as described, then youll be entitled to a refund.

Who's to say they arent new old stock? That makes them unused and still in original packaging, which is fine by me, and that is new. Not that id pay that price, but the seller has to try for their own sake just incase someone does pay that. I see nothing wrong with what they are doing.

I guess that's what my question is. Have these really been sitting on the shelf unused for all this time. They would have cost a small fortune. As you say though if new and unused I would agree with you.
