Anyone know what the green LED to the right of the red scan fail LED is indicating? Says CON (I think) below the LED. I have a couple G2's that that specific LED is not on along with the Convergence power supply LED not being lit. Just wondering what the other LED was indicating. Thanks

Hi,

The SF (Scan Fail) LED has two "neighbours". One is the indicator for the presence of the -17V from the SMPS board. The other one indicates the presence of the supply voltage for the Convergence circuits (+CONV) which is generated on the G2 board itself.

So this board has three functions:
- Provides the G2 voltages
- Gives diagnostic output through the LEDs
- Generates the +CONV/-CONV/+FOC voltages for Convergence and Focus

Seems they ran out of space on the SMPS module...

Regards,
