The projector is an Eisemann modded DVI 1208. The brightness and contrast both work but I do not get an onscreen display while making adjustments. The display for the inputs, ( 3 and 93), also do not show but function. Finally, the setup menu works and displays normal. Any recommendations as to the repair?

Thanks

Hit the 'text' button. That shuts down the onscreen text display.

I guess that might be caused by Gregs mods, because he remove original text insert diode circuit and use something different for that stage.

As simple as text on/text off! Menu back

Thanks Curt

....the DVI mod was installed when I purchased the projector and has been a nice addition for the past 5 years. I just bought Moome's Mux FHD so I can utilize more modern source equipment.

Thanks again,

John

Yesterday I discovered my remote for my WD TV Live Plus box set my Barco to "text off" again (not sure which key). I do briefly remember seeing the cross coding discussed on various WD forums.
