Hello,

I am considering buying a UMC-200 surround processor from Emotiva. This processor only has one HDMI output and 4 inputs.

I am using both a HTPC (one HDMI output) and a Oppo BDP-83 Bluray player (one HDMI output) as sources..

The set-up I was considering is:
HTPC->UMC-200->HDFury3->projector (BG1209s)
Blu-ray player ->Lumagen HDP->UMC-200->HDFury3->projector

Since the Lumagen cannot be used with the HTPC (it will not pass 1080p60), putting the scaler behind the UMC is not an option.

My current set-up is:
HTPC->HDFury 3->projector
Oppo->Lumagen->HDfury3->projector

So the big question is:
In my suggested set-up, will the Lumagen pass the HDAudio signal on to the UMC processor? If not do you have other solutions.

Regards,

Gerbrand
