Super hard to find at this point. $695 I think is the VDC price each for new ones. I probably have a red here, good luck with the G and B. I know I"m getting a set in in the spring with really good tubes that I will most likely part out. Figure on $300 per tube if I do part it out.

last I checked with VDC, they were doing them for $500 with you sending in a core, and that included them moving over the hardware which was nice.
But $300 sounds way better I'll keep my eyes out. Still loving the projector I got from you Curt, but my daughter burned a pause screen into green

Elaine Benes had bad experience with VDC rebuilt P16 tubes, but I have no clue if the quality still remained the same.

They used to sell new and rebuilt tubes. I am not sure if they are still rebuilding tubes or not.

AFAIK, the rebuilding line has been shut down for a couple of years at least, so they're running on what's left of their new stock.

That is what i thought i read somewhere too, id buy a good used original over a rebuild at that price, but im under the impression that is a new tube.

i have a complete set with evenly worn green and blue...but i think i should keep them for a little longer
haven't seen any tubes on ebay for a long while !
