|
|
Hi,
My projector is BG1209s with continues Scheimpflug adjustment.
The room is small and the lens, HQF900 or HD120 (I have both) isn't ideal for the small screen.
The main problem is that I can't get even focus from to to bottom. the Scheimpflug screw gets to the limit and does not allow me any more range.
Is there a simple way to add more range to the Scheimpflug adjustment?

Easiest way is to add washers under lenses.

Can you give me some more details about this option.

Remove one lens and put 0.5-1.5 mm washers to bottom row screws (ceiling mounted, top row for table mounted), between lens and LC hardware.
Then new try for Sheinpflug adjustment.
Washers are used for Sheimpflug adjustment in many AC projector.

Could you say the dimensions of your room, the distance between screen and pj?
Can you enlarge image to cover the tubes surface and cover the screen?
Wich is the dimension of screen?
I asked these questions because in the future I would like to install a 9" crt (with relative lenses) but I've also a small room like you.

My room is 3.5X3 meter
The throw distance is 3.5m minus projector body length.
Screen width is ~1.8m.
The image uses all the tube face.
The only issue I had is this scheimpflug problem, but now that I added the washers it's gone and just rquires some tweaking.
My previous PJ was a BG808S with HD8 lens, it gave me a bigger picture and had no Scheimpflug problems.
