I have the possibility to get a 1208 set with very low hours on the meter. The owner said, that the Picture went red after a few minutes. He bought the PJ moth's ago with 200hours on the set.
Do you think the 1208 is worth investing money? How much should i spend? My calculation is that for 200€ I can part out the pj without any losses.

If it really only has 200 hours on it, yes, that will be a great set. My guess is that a video amp is bad, which is a cheap fix.

My Guess is it to. Is the videoamp is discrete or a blackbox?
The owner paid around 1000€ a few moths ago, that is much to expensive, so i hope he won't fell of clouds when i offer him not even half of the money.
