Cool deal!
I'll check it out..probably from the 360.
I know Trumbull has always been a proponent of higher framerates for film....for a more immersive experience.
That Showscan Process of his was designed to be exactly that.
I believe it was 70mm..but I don't recall what the framerate was off the top of my head.

The realness of motion is one reason why our CRTs were bred to high refresh rates. Because simulations in non stereoscopic mode look more realistic with high frame rates, and it is great to have a PC that can do this (while video game consoles can not render higher than standard framerates).
Are very good point is in this discussion: that framerate in getting more important, the bigger the screen gets!
