I'm a total newbie. Bought a Runco DTV-940 at Salvation Army for $10 (1700+ hours). It is configured for overhead, but I need it for table level mounting (Ceiling is very high). I can't find any info on this anywhere (manuals or forums). I'm thinking it's because its a big deal to do,but I'm only guessin. Can anyone please advise? Thanks!

It's the same as a Barco 708:

There's a total of 9 connectors that need to be flipped. The 6 shown in the above link, and 3 similar ones in the middle of the convergence output board.

Good score, BTW. Low hours and an even lower price. Gotta love it!

Amazing. The price of these machines is just crazy. Not that a lot of formerly very expensive industrial equipment doesn't sell for pennies on the dollar compared to original price, but with these projectors, you can plug in a modern source like Blu-ray and have a home theater for pocket change... This is technology/experience only the wealthy had access to 15 years ago!

Very cool. Welcome to the forum, Pigeon.

Nice score indeed. If anyone stumbles on a Runco DTV1200 or Barco Cine 9 in their local Thrift Store please email me. Thumbs Up

Hey, it worked!! Thank you soooo much for your kind replies! I'm a semi/retired A/V tech, but I never got into CRT pj's, mostly did the audio realm. I'm gonna see if I can get this thing zoned in and cookin.' Much appreciation!!

Then add a couple of Crown Macrotech 5,000s and you're good to go!
