No I haven't even listed them yet. I'm selling off all the stuff that's easy to get to first. The PJ is still hung in my theater. I am really struggling with the reality of dismantling the theater and parting out my G70. For me personally it's an agonizing decision. All those hours spent planning, hunting, buying, aquiring, setting up, re setting up, calibrating, recailbrating, reaquiring...you know and then there are all the memories of the kids watching movies with their friends, our friends watching movies...everyone knows what I'm talking about.
All that just to take it apart and sell off for a few sheckles. Such is life.
Those VR lenses are rarer than hens teeth. Worth every penny I paid. The difference is immediately noticable.

Not jumping the gun as far as I'm concerned. I got one offer of 400 plus shipping on the table from the same ad already and a several other hooks have been placed in the water. I've also got another set of tubes, (really good condition), the original lenses and covers, and 2 whole g70's worth of boards under my bed in anti static bags all boxed up! I was planning on this projector and this theater lasting for the next decade (spare amps, spare speakers every imaginable spare part) and a ton of electronic testing equiopment that I should have listed in the next week or so.
C'est la vie.

Sucks, Ray. I know life sucks right now, but hopefully things turn around, your life improves, and maybe you can build an even better HT down the road... Who knows? If things keep going the way they are, maybe you'll run into a G90 for free (or at least, for less money than you get out of the VR lenses!) at some point.
Hope things start looking up for you sooner than later.

Kind words sir.
To be honest it doesn't feel like it sucks though. I don't think it's just making lemonade either. It feels cathartic. There's been times where things felt like it sucked in the past, but my kids are all healthy and happy and we have an awesome relationship and it just feels like absolutely nothing else really matters after that. Lots of money would be nice right? But I'm sure that what just bring me fancy misery of some sort. Plus I know this stuff (it is just stuff after all) is going to someone else to have fun with for a while. I'm feeling zen, I think.

You're so right. In the end, "stuff" is just "stuff" and really doesn't matter in the grand scheme, does it? I have too much crap and wish I had less. I'm actually trying to figure out how to get rid of a bunch of it, because I think "lightening the load" so to speak will be good for me and my family in several different ways.
Sounds like you're focusing on the truly important things and viewing your situation in the most positive light possible, Ray. Kudos!
