I am thinking of replacing my HT speakers. Because of the small space in the HT room, I would like to have some flat type speakers for the front, center and left. I am looking at the Sunfire CRS series. Of course, finding them for a decent price is going to be tough.

Any comments or thoughts on them?

Or, any other recommendations for a flat type speaker?

You would be hard pressed to find a better choice. IMHO, Bob Carver is one of the top ten most creative audio designers of all time.
This new series is based on his success with his "Amazing" ribbon speaker of some years back. Presently I am using the BG corp. 6ft. Ribbons built into my wall. They run from 200 Hz on up, are fairly efficient and can handle enormous amounts of power and have nearly the same quality of sound that the big electrostats have. I wouldn't trade them for anything near their price. I believe they are the same drivers that Carver used.

If you are into DIY, these drivers are quite cheap as an alternative to his newer lineup.
