Hi,
Need help for my friend G70 set. I just came back from his place to take a look at his G70 green tube focussing issue. I tried to mechanically focus by adjusting on the green len but that doesn't help. Therefore, I tried MG focus hoping that I could focus the green tube.
Unfortunately, mechanical & electronic still could not focus the green tube. I do check on the tube face and the convergence line is also blurr. It only happen to green tube and no problem on blue & red tube.
Could this issue be focus board or the focus yoke issue could it be something else? Any advise would be greatly appreciated

When you adjust the MG focus, does it do anything on the face of the green tube? If there's no change in the focus, I'd suspect the focus/V board.

Hi Curt,
There is a slight change when I adjusted the 2PH, 2PV & 4PA & 4PD but still not sharp enough and green convergence line is still fat.
Still not sure where the problem is.
