any ideas on how to hook my laptop to my 150 seleco

Isn't VGA or RGB cables the usual way to go?

Nope. VGA is a five wire output, analogue Red, Green, Blue, H Sync and V Sync on Five separate wires. The connector is called HD15 out of the laptop.

I have no familiarity with Seleco but you will need an RGBHV five wire input on the Seleco, be it BNC connectors or something else, and the Seleco will need to scan to at least 31.5 khz to display the lowest VGA resolution.
