Just curious as to the exact model number of the NEC XG1100. I have heard that there are different versions of the power supply for different model XGs.
Which one does the 1100 have?

6119A or 6119U, I can't remember which one it uses.

6119U works in non-LC models (XG-XXX0)
6119A works in LC models(XG-XXX1or2)

Thanks Jerry!
There is a guy on ebay selling brand new old stock NEC PSUs for the XG... would it be worth buying? Or is it likely that the capacitors in those NOS PSUs are also starting to decay from age?
I asked this question because im thinking something in my PSU is going out of tolerance causing a buzzing during bright scenes... I mean it is 15 years old
