so my seleco will do 3d with aid of a simple convesion box might not be the greatist but its a start. dose anyone no were there might be second hand crt projcetors in the uk.

Nash, there were a few adapters that used the 480i fields and shutter glasses to display stereo 3D. I think it was called "field-sequential" stereo 3D.
Later in the DVD days, not long before HD there were also a couple that used 480p/59.97 alternating frames with active shutter glasses.
Both required appropriate content (games, videotapes, etc.)
