First off, I'd like to thank everyone who put together the Dummies guide. It helped me immensely in understanding how to dial in my greyscale.

I have a Benq W6000 DLP projector. I used HCFR, an I1 Display 2 on a tripod, and the AVS disc. After I initially set the contrast to get the light output down(it was at 25 ftL) and set the brightness using a pattern, I set about tweaking the settings at the 30 and 80 IRE levels. Everything was looking good, until I checked the gamma and the light output at 100 IRE. I had to keep tweaking the contrast to hold down the ftL at 100% and adjust the brightness to bring the gamma in line(this was the only method I found to get the gamma near 2.2). I have delta E under 10 from 30-100. I assume that I shouldn't trust the meter from 0-20?

My other question... I have the disney WOW calibration disc, and after calibrating with HCFR, I can't see the 1% black star in the brightness pattern. The 2% star is just visible. If I turn up the brightness to see 1% black, my gamma goes way off. I assume keeping the gamma in line is more important than seeing the blackest blacks?

This projector has a CCA system, and I'll probably have time to start tweaking the primaries and secondaries sometime next week. Should I expect that to throw off my gamma and delta E numbers and end up having to go through setting the grayscale again?

I've also attached the after calibration file, if anyone wants to take a look and tell me if they see anything obviously wrong.
