After about 6 months without power my xg75 has the following symptoms:
1. When first powered up with a 1080i source it occasionally flashs video that is way off from sizing and convergence etc.
2. After about 10 minutes it does stay on but way off from a setup standpoint.
3. The on screen display text does not sync with the video which does not allow me to create a new entry.
4. When used the last time 6 months ago 1080i was fine except a left to right focus gradient on the green tube and I was just getting around to troubleshooting that problem when the current issue surfaced.

I do have a spare xg parts projector and plan on swapping the system board to see If I can make progress. Does this sound like a EEPROM issue?
thanks

Sounds like a system board issue.

I replaced the system board and that solved the problem. I still have the original green focus issue with the edges. I have confirmed that the optical or lens focus is ok since I can bring in any part of the image in focus electrically but not the entire image at the same time. It seems like the edge focus control is not working. the only way I can get a halfway decent focus is the use the pot on the wave board to get the edges in focus and then use the center electronic control to bring the center in. Is this a focus board issue?
thanks
Jim
