When you shut the pj down do you continue to see a glow for about 5-10 mins coming from the green tube, but not from the red and blue tubes? Just wondering if this normal for the green phosphor.

My G70 does the same thing. Regular green phosphor just has a much longer decay time than the red or blue. Hence, the need for P43 fast refresh green phosphor for stereo 3D applications. The side benefit is higher light output.

All 3 CRTs i have here do that too. Not as much on the NEC PG, but certainly on both of the Sonys, its very obvious. I was under the impression it was to reduce the flicker at lower refresh rates.
