Very Happy hi there,Newbie here.
Just to say hi to all.

I'm seeking help for my Barco600.

1. Must the Barco 600 have, sync signal to get picture?

2. Can anyone point out on a picture what the v and h board looks like,i have been troughout the guides on this site, but still it doesn't make sens to me,why i cant get picture.

I have removed the jumper mention i the guide from Curt, and still no reaction from the 600.

I have taken the TEST card and RGB out and tested it with my tester and there is connection trough the cards,

My dvd player have RGB connections on the back, and i have just taken that signal direct too the 600,and got signal response on the LED panel Near G2/Focus board... But at the same time i get RED LED...

The thing is,should't i at least could see a start up screen or calibration screen aka Internal test pattern..

When i turn on the power, with the shell open,i can see that all 3 tubes are lit,but just a tinny glow, and the RBG cable is brand new,and also the BNC connectors are new. And tested on flatscreen with perfect picture...

I am fairly new to the CRT section.. so bear with me if it take a while for me to understand the tecnicals... Very Happy

Hopefully you guys can help with this problem.

Sincerely
David

If that red light is on, then you have what's called Scan Fail mode, and you will get no image no matter what you do. You could have a bad H or V board, or a bad power supply.

The problem with the 600 is that it is now 23 years old, and faults are common. You would literally need a working 600 beside yours, and swap boards between the sets to see what the problem is. If you are a tech or know one, then the service manual for the 600 is on the main site as well to try and troubleshoot. I've had more issues with the V board than the H board, but that's a guess. I can send you some other boards for the cost of shipping, as I'm clearing out all my 600 parts, but I haven't run the boards in years, so I can't be certain that they work either.

Thanks for the feedback curt.

Is it possible for you to ship me a picture of these boards on my E-mail, because i can't sort it out i the setup guide on this page. And nighter in the 600'S

And maybe a picture of where to meausure the voltage to every bulb and the mains.. i have voltage tester.

As i wrote earliyer i am newbie to CRT... Very Happy

All thoe,im not giving up,have always been a fan of barco/CRT this is my first one, but have had an eye on them for a while.

What would the shipping costs be,for denmark... from you for the parts that might get it to work.. ?? maybe all the cards except botten card.... but dont think that it's the mains voltage, because it can see that the signal is comming in,and when i'l take the component cable out on the back... the LED thats green goes out.

But... do i need to have a sync signal besides the 3 component because i dont have that.

Tryied to upload pictures to my message but with no luck... got pictures of the most though... still.

But what with the bulbs... when they just glow a bit,is that normal... (Like pre. loadet) for signal

when i look troug the lens there is non wear in the liquide.... Or on paper on bag of liquide and they seems intact. like brand new.

But should't it be possible to get a status screen up although there is no signal... can not get eighter test pattern

or the logo screen in just 2 colors maybe to see the counter on bulbs.. Aka (Running time)

Sincerly

David

Also, component is not RGBs. you need an RGBs input for the set to work, as in the output from a laptop computer. Run 640 X 480, and combine the H and V sync cables with a T connector.
