Im in the service menu.
Can someone tell me how to access the hours on this set?

Are you in "service man mode"? If so, you should see the hour counter right in the menu.

Hum. Not there. Seems like it would show using the "page" button but no luck there either.

No, you need to get into the service mode first, as if you were going to do convergence. Once you're in the service menu, a 'secret' page 5 on the page button will unlock, and you'll see the hour meter there.
Page 5 in the page menu won't be visible until you get into the service mode though.

Are you SURE you're in Service Man mode? You held down the TEST button until the projector asked "service man mode?" and you pressed the up arrow?
If so, then something else is afoot and we can go further.

That's exactly what I thought and almost had typed out... Hence the "something else is afoot".
I figured it was either that or, though highly unlikely, somebody had put some 1270 boards in a 1271.
