|
|
Hi there,
Just got my Sony D50 hooked up via HDMI to RGB converter. Problem is that I am not able to select input A (RGB) on the on screen menu at all. What could be the problem here as it simply skips the option on the on screen menu? The manual indicates that only items highlighted in green can be selected and changed and items in white cannot. The unit was however set up the way I have it at the previous owners place without problems. Please help!
Regards
Jacques

Which remote control are you using?
The basic remote?
or the setup remote?
Cheers
Steve

Using the setup remote.
press, Menu,
then got to Set Setting,
press right arrow, to the input A,
then press right arrow, then sellect the type of input, RGB in your case.
press enter,
then you should be all set.
Cheers

Hi HK-Steve,
Thanks - tried that and also not able to make the selection there. Just skips past this without giving you the option to select. Might it be that it is not picking up the signal?
Regards

The square block on the left of the option (input A) to be selected is not highlighted. This is very weird!

Possible it is not seeing the signal,
I have only had my D50 for 4 months, not really played with it that much.
Hooked it up, and been watching in my workshop ever since.
Hope you can get it worked out.
Cheers

Do the composite and S-video inputs work? VIDEO on the remote control.
Just wondering if your video input board is loose.
