Just wondering where exactly would I look for a tube for this TV? The red and blue look brand new, the green has a bit of wear and you can see some discoloration on the left side of it ever so slightly. Otherwise, I cannot complain about the set, absolutely amazing what people will get rid of (because they have no clue how to fix it Very Happy)

Its a 7" LC Tube, the model number is located in a very hard to get to place on the tube, But I believe it was P16LVU03HKA, 6LVU03HKA, or M 6LVU03HKA .... as I said, amost impossible to see on the tube itself

Call VDC at 800-241-5005. If they don't have it, you're probably SOL, as I don't think anyone is making CRT tubes anymore for consumer stuff. You might luck out on eBay...or check CL for someone giving one away..

I would need the model off of the tubes if you could provide it Smile

Kind of like the NEC XG projectors, they LOVE to eat the green tubes up, at least I haven't seen many pretty looking green tubes for an XG Razz

Red and blue are just fine, the green probably has burn because when I got the set the Contrast and brightness were maxed out (because people were too lazy to take the back cover off and clean the lenses and mirror...)

Once I did that, I was able to turn brightness down to about half and same with the contrast, and the picture is still brighter than it was when I got the TV,

luckily there is NO burn on the green tube, only some even shaded wear on it, not really noticable unless you are on an all white screen, and even then its not TOO bad (But I notice it;) )
