I second a Craig recommendation. He is a great person and calibrator to work with. He lives in the Chicago area and I wish him well to get feeling better.

If Craig cannot or will not do this, I'm available. I'm in Detroit, but I-94 is easy as long as it isn't snowing.

What do you have in front of this...electrically and optically. What sources, adapters, processors, and wires...and what screen and size?

What is the history of this unit? Do you know how many hours are on it?!

Cheers,
John

Haven't heard from Craig, but they are saying he is under the weather.
It's actually a zenith 1200, like kal, but the same as the cine8... I have a 120" screen.

I have hd direct TiVo (component) , ps3 (hdmi) ,marantz DVD ( hdmi 480i ) and a Vudu box (hdmi) going to a DVDO vp50. All sources are set to 1080i except the marantz which is 480i. From the DVDO to a extron line driver the to a fury 1 out via rgbhv cables to the pj, which is set to a single input at 1080p.....

Hope that helps?

hmm, I'm betting the calibrator takes out the Extron and lowers the DVDO output resolution to something like 1080i 96hz.
Nice projector though, should be a real beauty once it's dialed in.
