|
|
Recently my blue raster has been "shaking". The image will look converged, and then the blue raster will quickly jump to the left a few inches then snap back into alignment. The red and green are stable.
To be sure it wasn't the cables I swapped the red and blue and the issue remained on the blue so it's not that. The only possible other unknown is my Extron 108.
Any ideas?

What i reckon itll be is the connectors that go to the deflection yoke, pull them off and give them a clean up, see if that fixes the issue for ya

Yes, shoot some www.caig.com cleaner onto the pins. I'm a bit concerned that you've got image shifting by INCHES. That's not usually indicative of bad HDM yoke connectors, I'd suspect the V/H shift board underneath the boards above.\
I've got spares, but swap the blue H shift lead with the green, and see if the green starts shaking. If I remember correctly, the H shift connectors are the ones closest to the back of the chassis.

I pull the various connectors on that board and cleaned with isopropyl alcohol. The blue jitter has stopped so hopefully that was the cause. I'll get some Deoxit and do it again.

If the picture with jitter, then WAVA board grid failure, if only the jitter problem, then replace the board of the OSD board electrolytic capacitor may be able to troubleshoot

XG horizontal movement by the convergence to complete the circuit board has nothing to do with the horizontal scan,
Some changes in the level of scanning projection board level to achieve the level of mobile

It stopped after I cleaned with the isopropyl. Should I do anything more or wait?
