Curt is the only one I am aware of. Someone bought the molds, but I thought I remember a thread where their garage caught fire and they were destroyed. THey pop up in the buy/sell forum from time to time, but I believe Curt is the only one that has some forsale right now.

Nope, I've got nothing. I have one complete low hour Vision1 for sale, but the case covers are $4500, and come with a complete projector for free.
I don't think you'll find just the covers, unless someone has parted out a Vision 1.

Curt, would this happen to be one of the 9500s with the "rare HD10E lenses installed"...the color-corrected lenses too?

Nope. I haven't even pulled the cover on it to see if it's an Ultra. A one owner set, GT17 lenses, and about 2000 hours on it. Piano black finish, with a pretty minty case, a couple of tiny scratches on one side panel.

Not sure yet. I also have a 9500 Ultra, 2002 build, everyhthing but the 10E lenses (GT17s included. 2200 hours or something close, in a black Marquee case. $3000 with existing tubes that has a tiny bit of green wear, or $4K with all new tubes.

Once you check it out let me know; I'll take it off your hands . Unless someone else has dibbs on it
I've become spoiled by the color-corrected lenses on the 8500; but I'd be willing to snag one of these "in the hope" that One Day I could obtain color-corrected lenses for the 9500 as well.

Having converted my 8500 with color corrected 145s to be a 9500 with HD-10Es and C-elements (including the red), I have to say its definitely a step up. If you can swing it and find a red C-element, go for it. If I only knew they would become so rare, I would have bought more than one off of Terry during his LUG firesale!

I don't want to take this off-topic, but I want to ask what case color everyone likes? I have seen candy apple red, blue, black, etc. I have seen lower gloss and high gloss. Just kind of curious, I guess.

Candy apple colors sound sexy.
