Hi,
I was wondering if anyone here knows of a HDMI splitter that will pass a 3D signal? I have a G90 for movie watching and a RS1 so it can crap out regular T.V. and save the tubes on the G90. The splitter I was using before adding 3D worked fine but apparently can't pass the 3D signal.
Blaine found one from MONOPRICE through trial and error with Craig but I can't get Blaine to respond to my email. So, I thought I would throw it out here where the only true intelligent people hang out!
Thanks!

I have a 4x2 hdmi matrix from monoprice that pass through 3D. It is the one with the analog output on it. I believe they only have one that also spits out analog audio as well as the hdmi audio, and it's either the 2nd or 3rd one from the lowest costing one.
As for a splitter, they do have a 1.4 version on the site. I've bought many converters from them, and they all work very well, and their consumer support is fantastic. I do alot of broadcast equipment installs, and I've used several of their matrix devices and composite/component to hdmi to use with hd-sdi.
Also, alot of their devices will pass along 1.4 eventhough it only says 1.3. Just look at the reviews, and most of the time, people will say which and what works.

Mike,
The thing is you don't need one that passes 3D, what you really need is a splitter that can pass 195MHz custom modes. There are a lot of splitters that can do 3D, but not specifically what you need.
When I did Blain's Marquee 3D stack, I had him order every splitter that Monoprice had. It wasn't until the third splitter that we got one that actually worked. I think it was one of the 8 output splitters. Send Blain an email and ask him. His email is in our 3D emails

I PM'd doc with the splitter that we found to work on December 20th. It is the Monoprice 8205 1 X 8 splitter.

Cool, so my memory was actually working
Doc, you might want to try that 6192 though as it does say it can handle 225MHz. However, Blain and I discovered some really weird behavior on some of the splitters, but I don't think that is one we tried.

Check out the "Atlona Technologies" website, among many other things, they have a number of HDMI splitters/distributors that pass a 3D signal. Not the cheapest but it is good stuff.
