this is a wierd problem I've never seen before, happens after about 30 minutes on green and blue only, never on red. Source is HDMI from BD player and Cable box through Yamaha receiver to older Moome HDMI/component card. Lasts for maybe a minute and half and then the PJ re-synchs.
Anyone ever seen anything like this before?

this is what dan wrote

As soon as the screen goes to fine snow and the red gun goes out, I hit the # button on the remote to go to the test pattern screens, and they come up fine with all three guns on. After I cycle through all the patterns and go back to the input the red gun goes out and the screen goes to a very fine snow pattern again after it seems to try establish sync. After doing this sequence several times the picture begins to clip out, (go black, all guns out) and flash on and off,( on the test patterns and the input.)
The audio is not affected at all throughout all of this. I also set up another channel and tried switching to this, and got the green No Sync message when I switched to that.

The problem lasted about 10 minutes the other night, (it keeps getting longer and longer). and the only thing else I can think to try is another monitor. But by the time I got another tv in place to plug the source HDMI into, The issue had resolved itself..... and didn't happen again for the next 30 minutes that I watched it.... Kinda like taking the car to the mechanic and it stops making that weird noise when you get there....

I've been trying to get him to do that and it seems o clear up but he has the lap-top on a chair on top of a table on top of a bed etc. Hopefully he splurges the 5$ on a new RGB cable and tests is properly for an hour or more. I think it's the moome card as well
