We had visitors today and kids were playing in the basement. Not sure who tried to turn off the projector. Anyways, when I turned it on, the convergence are all gone. I went inside the setup and all the numbers are all 49. Looks like it was reset to factory default. What did they accidentally pressed? I noticed there is a small inverted illuminated square. Is that a reset to factory button?

The recessed button is for setting the projector address. Sounds like someone deleted the memory blocks. Are they still there ?

I'm not sure how to check it. I pressed all the numbers since I didn't know what to do. Not sure how to restore it. I redid everything again from scratch. I'm up and running now. Just wondering what got pressed. I actually covered the recessed button. I assumed it was the reset to factory but it's not until you mentioned it.

You would have to hit ADJ on the remote and then select service mode, hit enter then select delete all blocks and hit enter.
Seems more likely the source output resolution was changed requiring you to create a new memory block...

Hey Tom, another quick question. I am really not sure what those 0-9 numbers are port. My thinking was that it correspond to where our cables are conneted. Like in my case, the rgbhv cable is connected to port 4/5. That means, I have to press number 5. However, I only did it one time since. I was thinking that I maybe wrong. If so, how do I use it?

There's a second memory bank under '95'. Maybe they pressed that? Seems more likely than clearing out all of the memories.
Anyways, depending on their age, you can get all mad n'stuff now, and tell them that until a projector tech is available in Feb, there WILL BE NO MORE HOME THEATER for the kids.
