Hi,

Is there any alternative to denatured alcohol for cleaning the boards of a Marquee 8500?

not sure what your asking? Cleaning after soldering is best done with IPA. If your cleaning contacts then a small bottle of Ciag De-oxit with applicator brush is the way to go.

The 91% isopropyl alcohol that alot of drug stores sell works good.
