Hi, in the xg installation manual it says the angle of the projector should be either 12.4 ° or zero for my screen size. how critical is it to be in that range? I am trying to adjust the focus rings. I have to check my angle it is neither of those I am sure. It will be closer to zero since I wanted to raise the bottom of the screen out of my 1 year old's reach. I would guess it is mounted at about a 5° angle. Is there a way to set the focus rings for something other then what is called out or am I out of luck?

Ok, here's the first problem. That chart is for the diagonal measurement of a 4X3 screen. So you would need to recalculate your screen width to that diagonal. Next, since you wont really be using the upper and lower portions of the tube face the adjustment rings are not as critical, maybe only for fine tuning the L and R center edge.

well it looks like the screen is 98" wide at 2.35:1 and the rear of the projector is slopping down and about 5° angle so that puts the front at what around 7°? what is the best position then for the focus rings i know macgyver655 said it is not as important since i wont be using the hole raster but what should the Poisson be for this angle and size? thanks
