I think I already know the answer to this, but could really do with someone with the kit to just check for me...
PS3 -> EXT-FULLHD V3 3D -> CRT Projector (no scaler)
3D Games output at 720p.
3D Movies output at 1080p.
Can someone please try to lock the PS3's resolution to 720p, disable 24hz playback and tell me if 3D content works for bluray movies?
Would love to get this working, but can't afford $1,500+ for a 3D scaler.

Hi,
there is no waz to limit the PS3 to 720p120Hz for 3D movies  The 720p@120Hz-3D mode works only for 3D games.
I own myself a PS3 and have tried a lot but there is no way the actual firmware won't allow this happen! My alternative solution for 3D movies is a HTPC, this costs far less than a Radiance and works great at least for me

Thanks prover, I may have to head down that route, or wait for the next generation 3D card from Moome.
