I have a 513 in the bedroom and the living room. I think they are great. Sometimes you tell it to record to DVD and it records it on the hard drive. I bought them because I figured that the end was near for Super VHS.

I have the 160gb model. It doesn't record in HD. DVD 480i only. Also no HD tuner or live pass through.
Nice SD PVR for recording over the air HD in SD quality.

You could go over to AVS. They have a huge thread on these units.
