On the 1200 series, I see there are two rails acting like stands/feet. Are there mounting holes(screw holes) for me to use? And can I remove the rails? This would help a lot.

Yes, hang it from those rails. The rails are bolted to the bottom chassis. It's not hard to take the bottom 1/2 of the case off, 6 bolts will do it from the top of the chassis, but it would be a bitch to put the chassis back into the bottom case once it's hung.
Use Unistrut right angle metal pieces from the rails. You'll need 2 friends to hold the projector in place while you put the bolts and nuts through the right angle pieces. That's how I've done it in the past.
