But my favorite one just about gave me a heart attack tonight.
I use a big honkin Barco industrial LCD for my outside theater. I spent the whole day setting up my
Halloween theater. I figured after dinner I'd dial in the projector so that it would be all ready for tomorrow.
I've had this projector for about 6 years and it's never failed me. It is permanently mounted in the garage
and shoots through a port hole in the outside wall onto the screen. I hooked everything up, plugged it in and
flipped the main power switch to "ON". The power and stby LED's were lit as usual. About 5-10 seconds later
I heard a un-Godly popping sound and everything went dead. Oh oh, this ain't good on the night before Halloween.
I ripped it apart and found a blown fuse on the main power board. I replaced the fuse and the lamp while the cover was off. Lucky me spotted that brand new in the box lamp on e-bay about 5 years ago and it's been on the shelf here for 5 years Thumbs Up

I paid $50.00 for it shipped. It's like a $1K lamp. It's working like a charm now.
