Hi,
With all the people that have changed tubes out here, how do I know if I have a good seal on my tube to LC chamber? Is there a way to leak test it? I have a NEC XG. I have been following the guide for a Sony G90 tube change because it's as close to the NEC LC chamber minus the four pin stops on the Sony chambers. I put a nice bead of silicone around the edge and a little heavier in the corners, to make sure I didn't miss any. I centered up the tube as square as possible to the chamber. Added about 5lbs to the back of the tube and let setup for 72hrs. Here's a picture of the rough cleanup. Are there any things I should look for?

Thanks-Dan

You're braver than I am, I've never tried that. Smile

I always fill my tubes with water overnight to check for leaks so I don't waste glycol.
