Thanks to help and parts from curt i got a Runco 943/barco 708 up and running.

My question is i have it mounted on a table 12 feet away from a 106inch fixed screen, and the image overlaps the screen by atleast 1ft or so on test pattern. what should the Scheimpflug adjustment be at? It looks like the previous owner has it set to 2.8 and i'm thinking it should be at 1.4 not sure.

Also just another quick question, i replaced the redtube on the machine due to a broken one when i got it. Now when i display video on only the red tube it looks like i can see the video on the face of the tube as well as the raster fully displayed behind it or over the top. It is only visible on the redtube, green and blue just show the video image on the center of the tube.

thanks

Center position (range 2) is for 75-126" width screens.

G2 need to be adjusted after tube swap, check page 31.

Ok thanks, so is 12 feet to far away from a 106 inch wide screen? not really sure since i'm new to PJ's what the best distance is or how to calculate it.

You can use Barco lens software or adjust picture to almost fill green tube (about 1/8" to L/R edge) and move projector until picture fits to screen.

Could be, but he didn't mentioned retrace lines and super bright raster.

So it could be just bit too high G2, because he swapped new red tube. (without G2 adjustment?)
