Hi,

I was at my favorite projector parts place, It is now very depleted (thanks to me) anyhow today I found a set of 180BVB22 tubes in good condition, Does anybody heard about them? They are toshiba made tubes, in LC chassis the dimensions of the tubes reminded me of the P16LJE tubes (7"ish, narrow neck) There are some RPTV parts there, so they can be RPTV tubes as well. It's a tempting idea if they would fit in my NEC 6PG xtra (the NEC has 3500hrs, but the tube set is only $50)

PS: I've found 2-2 pristine R-B 180CGP22 (hithachi) tubes with the same dimensions as the BVB without housings, these had curved phosphor.

At the first look I thought tha they are DVBs too, but it was clear that these tubes had narrow neck, later I've found a P16LNP tube (toasted) on the scene, and the side-by-side comparision clearly showed the difference, the BVB had slightly shorter neck, and narrower.
