How dare you post ebay auction links here?
Thanks for that, SOLD!
Not sure what it fits, I do already have the other 1270 extender board that he has listed, used it once I think. Not sure if I'll use this one, I sure don't have it though, and at $42 incl shipping, I grabbed it.
When I die, you can all come up and raid my shop for these even rarer parts.

I have to say, the ebay seller hatred towards people outside of the US, even us Canadians went way up after 9/11. That's why I moved my eBay account to Wa. state, so I could still buy from guys like this.
** it may not be hatred towards non USers, it could simply be that the sellers don't want to deal with customs paperwork..

That Sony extender looks like it will raze the E board and other 2 main boards from chassis looking at the 3 headers ?
and prob allow the PA to be extended or maybe not..

That was a good deal for sure
John R turned me onto this board at Mouser (part number 8196-6U-EXT-LF).
Not $45 shipped, but still works perfect for the G90 and G70. I cut the center blank section out and made two separate boards out of the one larger board. Works perfect for almost every board in the G90.
For cutting, I used my diamond blade designed to cut ceramic tiles, stone, etc, in my table saw to chop out the center. Here is the final product that I use for YA repair and the like.

Wow, that's cool, so you can break each of the 96 pins via the jumpers? Sweeeet!
(I wonder if Mouser was approached a loooong time ago by a CRT tech saying
'Hey, if you build this, 100s of people will buy them'
(I'd ask Mouser if they wanted to sell their remaining stock at $10... )

Nah, it's an off the shelf bread board for prototyping. Search the web with the part number and you will find tons of outlets selling them from between $200~$400. The connectors are industry standard so... Twin Industries makes tons of different boards like that.
But yeah, I can pull jumpers, isolate, attach the oscope, or whatever.

Well I appreciate you taking the time to post, teas us with your G series extension boards Craig
After all there is very little to know literature on these rare extension jigs..
So Craig do you have an extension Board to raze the E board in G70s ??
I believe Curts Jig will allow E board D & DC to be extended, know ?..
Sounds like Curt got A real bargain, Damm it I need to take Curts advice & set up A USA Ebay account..
Jase...

Hello Curt,
I could easily incorporate this feature into the custom NEC extender boards we were talking about in this thread:

I don't know if I'd ever need that, I was thinking if I've ever had any scenario where that would come in handy (after I posted of course!), and I don't think I'd ever need that.
Gotta post those pix of the connectors, I'll do that shortly.

No, I don't have an extender for the G70 E board or any with that plug. Twin Industries does make a board that should work, but I don't do G70 repairs as I send them to Curt. Thus I couldn't see spending that kind of money for repairs I seldom would try.
On the other hand, I get folks from all over the world sending me G90 YA boards for repair including Curt, Greg Iseman, and others. The YA board requires both my extender cards so I use them all the time.
Also, the BA board mods that Mike Parker was working on benefited from the extender boards.
