The title says it all. Minty looking unit strarts and shuts down after a couple of minutes with a blinking 03 in the display. I have a working unit here too so I could start swapping boards to identify the error. Any suggestions on how to proceed?

Thanks
Hans

Are you sure you are reading that code correctly. You might be reading it upside down and mistaking the 3 for a F.
FO is a fan stoppage. Make sure all the fans are spinning on power up.

Thanks Stephuel,

I found out myself that this should read E0 insteaf of 03. Not F0 though.

But indeed, the fan on the bottom between F- and C-board is not turning. I was about to change that for a quieter one anyway and hope the error will then be solved.

Case closed
Hans

the sucker is out, but I had to move the green and red CRT to access it. The 10pg C-board cooling is what they should have built into the smaller units as well. There is a nasty to remove plastic windshield directing the air towards a big heat sink under the f- and c-board. The smaller PGs have those mounted directly on the bottom plate. That's why i glued on an extra heat sink from the outside.

Is E0 the 10 PG's version of a fan stopped error code? My PG plus service manual lists F0 as that error code and has no listing for E0 that I could see. I didn't spend to much time looking though.

It was definitely a blinking E0 and not F0. I also do not have a Manual with this code but will try to reproduce it when I change out the other fans (ordered on Ebay yesterday).
