Did Chromapure just have a massive price increase? I was looking at the Pro bundle with the i1 Pro and D3 for $1799. Now it looks like it is $2499. I didn't look closely at the other bundles, but they may have increased as well. It looks like I will be cross shopping with Calman now.

Something wrong with the prices here, must be a typo. The Eye-One Pro on its own with CP Standard is $1030 while the Eye-One Display 3 Pro with CP professional is $1199. If you put the two together just as is and eliminate the need for the "Standard" software it wouldn't be much more than $2000. Perhaps Kal and/or Tom could clarify this, doesn't make sense.

It isn't a typo, as that is the price that Tom has on his website. I thought the same thing with the bundle you mentioned Ron. With that bundle, it comes out to be about $250 less along with a copy of CP standard.

Not a typo. Tom had me change the price of only that one ChromaPure Professional package recently (ChromaPure Pro + D3 + Eye-One Pro) as it was a mistake and I asked the same questions. It has to do with THX licensing if I understand correctly when they're purchased together.
A suggestion:
1. Buy the Eye-One Pro + CP Standard for $1030 here.
2. Upgrade to CP Pro for $799 (or $599 if you already own a competitive professional calibration software product).
3. Buy the D3 Standalone here (you don't need the PRO version since you'll use the Eye-One Pro to do the calibration yourself).
Total cost: $2098 (or $1898 if you already own a competitive professional calibration software product).
Email me at ChromaPure@CurtPalme.com.

Thanks Kal. That sounds like a good package. I plan on doing something after I get back from Cedia, if my trip isn't to expensive.
