|

Received it this morning and was finally able to get it home a few hours ago. Way bigger than I expected even though I had it marked out on the floor in tape. I had a sony 1270 and with my Herculean strength could move it on my own. This beautiful Ampro 4300 on the other hand is too much projector for me to handle on my own.
Anyway, got it down the stairs, connected all the stuffs and I have picture. Was able to get into the help menu and adjust all three lenses. The size is off but will have to look into all that tomorrow. Enjoy your night.

first thing you will need to do is unsolder all electrolytics and carbon comp resistors and replace them with ceramics and low esl higher voltage caps.
......oh it is an ampro sorry, those things are only required on a marquee.

The 1270 (if in good shape) is a very nice machine and quite easy to set up. I had one for a while and its picture quality was very good.
It's also not the heaviest projector around. They're pretty easy to move around by yourself.
I can move up to a Marquee 9501LC without assistance (from one table to another, anyway) but that's the safe limit. I don't try to move AmPro x600s unless it's just to slide them.

Whats the problem? They are actually real easy to set up once you understand the keys. There is also a help menu for setup that Chip always likes to recommend. Or read the manual, lol.

I can see the desktop but it is flickering or rolling. I am researching negative sync I also wonder if I have the right cable connected to the sync. I have the black connected.
I'm at the top of Google!

1080p maybe a stretch for that 4300. Atleast wait until you have a proper setup to try.
Start out with a lower rez until you get the hang of it. It should have no trouble syncing though.

I can see the windows symbol and a few desktop icons so I'm close. Sure it is something simple. Will keep y'all posted.

If all five cables (R, G, B, H sync, and V sync) are connected and the horizontal is locked but the picture is rolling vertically the little two pin programming shunt on the RGB board should be removed. Look on the RGB board along the bottom edge to the left of the edge connector.

Yeah, my bad. Did not have the v sync cable connected. I now have my desktop showing on my crooked ass-ed wall. Glad I didn't go with goo.
